In an effort to expand the European modular construction industry, the Modular Building Institute’s (MBI) Board of Directors recently voted to move forward with a plan to reach out and garner support from fifty European companies willing to pay 1,500 Euros to join MBI, with the understanding that this will lead to the possible creation of a more formal MBI Europe with an office and staff based in Europe. 

The European modular market has been identified by MBI as a primary growth area due to the number of companies as well as the innovative use of modular construction.  However, given that there is no pan-European organization currently, MBI is proposing to build upon our existing membership base. In order for MBI to gauge the interest and feasibility of such a plan, we are asking your company to confirm your expression of interest to become members of MBI Europe. 

This is not an obligatory confirmation, but it is an expression of firm interest to participate in forming a pan-European entity, serving the best interests of modular industry in Europe and around the world. Based on the responses received, the MBI board will determine the best course of action to move forward.
