POSCO A&C, 100% financed by POSCO is a comprehensive architectural service company established in 1970 to provide the specialized technologies necessary for the Pohang Steel Works construction. POSCO A&C can comprehensively undertake a series of architectural processes ranging from planning, design, and construction to supervision and maintenance. Specifically, POSCO A&C offers differentiated services including design with technology, architectural CM capability based on steel plant CM, Design Build enabling construction period reduction, and quality improvement, and modular system that changes the paradigm of architecture. POSCO A&C Modular System “INNOHIVE” applies industrialized construction methods by using standardized modules fabricated within the factory and assembled on site to reduce construction period up to 50%. This system enables up to 80% reuse of building structure when buildings are dismantled and reconstructed. POSCO A&C Modular System method certified in Russia, Australia, and Canada suggests a new paradigm in architecture by cost reduction through uniform quality and mass production.
