Are you passionate about innovation in the construction and modular building industry? We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team and help drive strategic growth across commercial, higher education, and healthcare sectors.
In this role, you’ll identify new opportunities, forge lasting partnerships, and lead the charge in expanding our market presence through off-site, modular, and prefabricated construction solutions. We're seeking someone who thrives on relationships, understands the industry landscape, and is motivated by results.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify and pursue new business in modular and off-site construction.
- Develop and maintain relationships with developers, GCs, architects, and public agencies.
- Analyze market trends and industry innovations to inform strategy.
- Create and present proposals, negotiate deals, and close long-term contracts.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, PM, marketing) for smooth execution.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
- Monitor KPIs and report on sales and growth objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience in business development or sales within modular/off-site construction.
- Solid knowledge of prefabrication methods, building systems, and regulations.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, sales tracking systems, and estimating software.
- Strategic thinker with a proven ability to execute growth plans.
- A strong industry network is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with large-scale modular projects and working with government agencies.
- Familiarity with permitting, zoning, and compliance in modular construction.
- Understanding of sustainability trends, LEED, and green building practices.
