Description Summary:
The Production Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing our production operations to
ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. This role involves coordinating with various departments, leading a
team of production staff, and implementing strategies to improve manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily manufacturing activities to ensure production targets are met. Have overall
responsibility for meeting the labor, material and production hours assigned to a project.
• Meet assigned production schedules and strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize
downtime.
• Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate production staff to ensure high performance and adherence to
company standards.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment through effective communication and team building activities.
• Ensure that manufacturing processes adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and oversee quality control procedures and address any quality issues promptly.
• Enforce safety policies and practices to maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve production
issues.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of materials while minimizing excess.
• Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on performance, productivity, and
other key metrics.
• Document and track changes to production processes and procedures.
Skills/Qualifications:
• 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing management role.
• Proven experience with production planning, quality control, and team management.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient in manufacturing software and systems (e.g., ERP systems).
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:
Works in an environment with occasional exposure to loud noise levels, cold and hot temperatures,
inclement weather conditions. Interacts with staff and/or private representatives in interpreting and
enforcing departmental policies and procedures.
Pay Range:
$80,000 - $120,000
