Architectural Excellence : Luxury custom features are incorporate into the large, natural light-filled apartments such as, but not limited to, an upscale chef’s kitchen with stainless-steel appliances and quartz countertops, full-size washer and dryer, extra storage space in walk-in closet and private exterior balconies. Certain building material such as windows and HVAC equipment required special accessories to account for the altitude difference between the modular manufacturing facility and the project site, which was 6,000 feet.

Cost Energy Effectiveness : The construction schedule was reduced by 6 months compared to conventional construction methods to help achieve optimal on-site construction timing, which helped to mitigate exposure of interior components to inclement weather that is typical during Winters in Edwards, CO. This project required overcoming these seasonal challenges as well as the logistical transportation challenges of delivering 202 modular units, 1,200 miles one way, accumulating over a half million over the road miles. Despite the transportation distance and related costs, there was a significant savings in labor to complete this project via modular production across 3 facilities, due to the high local labor costs at the project site.
