Architectural Excellence : Alta-Fab Structures architects and engineers were enlisted to design a building that would be simple, but aesthetically unique. It is fitted with modern features and finishes ideal for a comfortable and efficient work setting. The building interior is unexpectedly spacious due to the high 14’ ceilings, clutter-free layout, and ample daylight passing through the large glass windows. Users connect to the environment through panes that provide both views and light. Wood-grain floors and solid oak cabinets add warmth to the space. The in-house-built tables, counters, cabinets, convenient chair rail, decorative rock wall, and glass tile enhance the comfortable and elegant feel. The exterior utilizes 4 different styles of metal siding that stand out in the large complex of traditional tin siding, while the finish complements the natural light and innovative window configuration. The brickwork and original roof line provide a polished finish.

Cost Energy Effectiveness : All systems in the building’s design were streamlined and all materials used to create the structure require minimal maintenance. The effectiveness of these systems ensures the unit’s full performance can be achieved, regardless of where it is used or who is using it. Though it is a simple design, it allows for the most efficient use of materials and increases the building’s overall adaptability for daily usage.

Technical Innovation : It took expert craftsmanship and technical skill to install the high-quality glass tiling in the entertainment centre and the Italian glass pendant lighting, which accented the tilework and rounded out the area’s inviting feel. The original roof line was fabricated specifically for the building and has been designed to help improve insulation. One of the four styles of exterior metal siding was the result of collaboration with our metal supplier. Our supplier utilized their new automated production line to create a smooth clean metal finish with hidden fasteners, architectural reveals while flexible enough to be used on a relocatable skidded structure. After several test moves the new siding has achieved the goal of being flexible without wrinkling.
