Architectural Excellence : Clark Construction was hired to begin constructing a 35,000-capacity stadium to serve SDSU Aztecs, football team. To begin work on this high-profile, two-year project, Clark Construction was in immediate need of 18,720 square feet of temporary mobile and modular office space with shower and restroom facilities for the commercial construction team. Clark Construction looked to Pacific Mobile to fulfill this immediate need. Pacific Mobile worked closely with the customer and the factory, Silver Creek Industries, to uniquely build four custom modular and mobile buildings to supply significant office, conference, shower, and restroom space for the general construction team. Pacific Mobile delivered an 84'x180' modular office building, 36'x60' and 24'x60' modular open offices, 12'x60' mobile men's, women's, and unisex restroom and shower facility within two weeks. Once onsite, the buildings were configured to face the job site so it could be viewed from the office.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : The benefit of temporary relocatable buildings is that they can be explicitly designed to be repurposed multiple times for multiple uses. These buildings were designed to be transported when the project is finished and repurposed into a maximum of 20 different buildings to fulfill the needs of other customers. This is not only an eco-friendly option but also a cost-effective solution for the building user.

Green Building Description : In addition to the custom 12' floor-to-ceiling windows designed to maximize natural light, these brand-new buildings were built to the new energy codes, and resource efficiencies were used, such as automatic light sensors and energy. Working with anyone else, Clark Construction would have received aged buildings. Because Pacific Mobile didn't have any other buildings to supply to this project, new ones were built to the current codes as a result.

Technical Innovation : The COVID-19 Pandemic hit just after the buildings were designed, and last-minute changes were made to the building layout. The interior had to be redesigned, with a requirement for a few walls separating cubicle clusters in the center of the building to be removed. Removing those walls allowed for more separation and space between workspaces to accommodate social distancing, resulting in a unique floorplan. The buildings were configured to face the job site for better oversight of the project from the project managers. To enhance this, custom 12-foot floor-to-ceiling windows were implemented into the design of the buildings to provide a broad view of the job site and maximize natural light.
