Architectural Excellence : This project consists of 196 modules with another 44 roof modules. It is four stories tall and built totally non-combustible. There are 95 living units, which provided 495 beds. The typical unit is a three bedroom, two bath and provided a commen kitche and living room area for a six-person suite.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : Cost over all was an issue with this project. The college only had so much in their budget. We worked together with the Construction Management Company to value engineer the project while still maintaining the client's needs. With the production and construction timeline being that this project had to open for the 2012 school year, modular was their only option.

Technical Innovation : This project was built on our semi-automated assembly line with a steel superstructure and concrete floors. We have our own steel fabrication facility where we create the structural steel components for the assembly line as well as roll our own cold formed steel studs. Our concrete floors are produced as poured in place panels in a separated facility prior to starting the module assembly. This allowed the concrete time to cure before we install them in to the module super structure.
