Architectural Excellence : The fit and finish of the mobile unit is the same level of quality you would expect to find in your own home. All of the cabinetry in the module was custom built in-house to ensure a perfect fit with the look and feel of the rest of the unit. The nosing throughout the unit is round edge hard wood with a top quality finish. The entry is roomy and spacious, allowing for easy access and the smooth flow of traffic. Inside the module there are numerous luxuries that provide comfort to the residents. These include leather furniture, pillow-top mattresses, and a Jacuzzi tub complete with shower. The interior was painted with deep, warm colours and finished with painted trim to match the overall aesthetic. With additional amenities, such as a BBQ and roll shutters for privacy and security, the module offers great comfort and ease of use for its occupants.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : To increase the energy efficiency of the unit, designers started at the bottom and worked their way up. The floor of the module was built for durability, which was a necessity considering the numerous location moves that the unit would undergo. Because the module was intended to last for such a long period, the increased durability of the unit would reduce costs overall by avoiding equipment replacements. High efficient triple glazed windows were also installed throughout the module to increase insulation and lower the power requirements for heating or cooling. A pressure system was also installed to reduce freeze-ups in the drastically different temperatures that the module would be experiencing. At the top, the designers used upgraded roof materials to ensure a high degree of reflection during the hot summer months. Added reflection on the roof reduces the power output required by the cooling system, thereby saving on fuel consumption, and cost.

Technical Innovation : The Engineer Wellsite module was designed to be highly efficient with the available space, as it was important that every square foot was utilized for the right purpose. In the end the module was designed to have ample storage space for the users. Deck space outside of the unit was even built with electrical capacity, making it possible for those using the module to conveniently use powered devices outside the unit as well. The mechanical room and plumbing for the unit used copper fittings throughout, and included shut-off valves for the water to help prevent unnecessary accidents or bursts in changing climates. The unit also incorporated hidden water lines, to keep the structure streamlined and aesthetically impressive.
