Architectural Excellence : This temporary lodge complex is the epitome of modular versatility, efficiency, and customization with 109,500 sq. ft. of comfortable and relaxed remote living area.
The lodge’s design with two side-by-side adjoining kitchens in the central services core provides for maximum utilization of space and the ability to expand services as occupancy increases. Our central services core features state-of-the-art culinary equipment, with a restaurant dining experience for our guests. Design features include a full service customer check-in, an on-site first aid facility, a games room with lounge seating, 52” LCD televisions and a commercial quality gym with sports flooring.
Our guest rooms provide a new level of comfort for remote living. Each room is equiped with Internet and Satellite TV services. Room features range from single-bed with connecting bathroom, to a number of rooms which feature a private washroom and queen-sized bed, giving a hotel-style environment.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : The layout of the units results in cost efficiencies for the client because the lodge has built-in flexibility to operate in three different occupancy modes: low, medium, and high. These efficiencies were duplicated during installation as the lodge was phased in. When occupancy is low, the exterior sides of the lodge remain inactive until required.
The two-kitchen combination layout offers unprecedented levels of efficiency as it can serve any number of camp workers through either the small kitchen (low occupancy), the large kitchen (medium), or both (high). The operational costs are kept to a minimum as required resources are consuming less energy.
For future projects, the side-by-side kitchen can be broken out into separate complexes providing flexibility for two separate camps at different locations.

Technical Innovation : An adjoining unit to the kitchen features a “Rig Box” facility designed to store and serve large volumes of pre-packed hot and cold lunches for offsite workers. Accessible from the kitchens, the rig box features large storage capabilities and a 100% stainless steel washing bay, where used lunch box containers are sterilized for their next usage. The rig box is a new industry concept that was designed and introduced specifically for this facility.
All sleeping accommodations were manufactured with enhanced bedroom sound-proofing allowing our guests privacy and an ultimate sleeping environment. The entire complex was upgraded with custom millwork, state-of-the-art heating and cooling systems, water-saver toilets and hotel-quality lighting.
The unique design of the lodge with its adjoining kitchens allows our customer to occupy the camp in three separate stages utilizing full occupancy capabilities.
