Architectural Excellence : The campus include modular elevator with separate machine room that is centrally located near fabricated stairways and was designed to blend in with the Buildings architecture, providing convenient access while not taking away from the building’s aesthetic. Also a self-supporting bridge was also designed to connect the new Building to the existing adjacent 2-Story Classroom wing. The structure’s efficient use of space was also integral to its design the new 2-Story Building were set close to existing property boundaries in an effort to rescue valuable outdoor activities space.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : With most of the Building having been fabricated off-site, the impact on the active school campus was significantly reduced. This allowed the school to avoid the costs of relocating students from the existing campus as well as saved them money when compared to site built construction.

Green Building Description : Building component fabrication occurred off-site in Meehleis’ net-zero energy facility utilizing our 190kv photovoltaic system. Materials used in the fabrication process included recycled steel for structural building frame and light-gauge wall framing. Meehleis’ fabrication methods also diverted nearly 95% of the construction waste from landfill. In addition, the majority of our employed craftsmen live within a 20 mile radius of the plant further reducing the overall carbon footprint, providing a quality structure that is gentle on the environment

Technical Innovation : The State-of-the-art Science Labs used epoxy countertops with built-in epoxy sinks, chemical-resisting floor finishes, fume hoods, lockable laboratory casework and lab-grade HVAC systems. All Labs and Classrooms used high-tech A/V systems including short-throw projectors and multiple computer work stations.
