Award Winner : WillScot Mobile Mini
Architectural Excellence : Williams Scotsman was selected to construct a new fire station for the Orlando Fire Department. The original fire station was deemed a sick building due to poor site conditions and had to be replaced. Williams Scotsman in partnership with Southeast Modular designed and built the new facility with concrete floor decking to be set at grade. The facility incorporates fire rated assemblies, four bedrooms, and a full commercial kitchen. A steel awing was constructed to connect the station with the adjacent garage.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : Williams Scotsman used the TCPN contract to aid the Orlando Fire Department in procuring the facility. The more efficient planning and procurement processes enabled accelerated contract execution and construction of the new station.
