Architectural Excellence : The project consisted of three 24’ x 60’ Modular Classroom Buildings totaling 4,320 square feet and consisting of six units each 12’ x 60’. Each of the six classrooms has its own HVAC system and restroom. The campus was installed in a U-Shape and a deck installed in between the units to save land, reduce ramps and thereby increase the safety aspect of the campus while allowing for the ease of removal of the buildings upon completion of the lease in three years. The stucco exterior finish color blends in with the existing church facility.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : Energy saving features includes a white reflective membrane roof, R-30 roof insulation, R-15 wall insulation, R-22 floor insulation, Low-E glass windows, separate HVAC units (one per classroom) with individual control, and recycled carpet tile.

Technical Innovation : Special features include a fibre-cement subfloor, 8’8” interior ceiling height with exposed beams, fire-rated sheetrock walls throughout with all interior walls installed full height to the rafters and insulated, solid core interior doors, fibre-cement skirting, and 130 MPH wind load rating in case of future relocation to a high wind load area on the gulf coast.
