Architectural Excellence : This doctor’s office needed to match the recently built hospital and was needed immediately. The building contains multiple exam rooms, a waiting/reception room, and a centrally located nurse’s station. The doctor’s office has a private shower/restroom. A custom carpet was installed in this large office after setup. All the exam rooms have overhead cabinets and sinks. The reception and collection rooms have 36x36 sliding glass windows for interacting with patients. The floors are mixed pattern tile to match the cabinets and counters. The exterior of the building is a stucco hardi-panel with a EPDM rubber roof. The exterior is painted to match the hospital that is located across the parking lot. The parking lot actually has sidewalks to connect the two buildings together. The main entrance into the building is level and gives the modular a pit set look. This is very professional looking building that meets all of the customer’s needs and will for many years.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : The modular is a pier set which allows for relocation if needed. The hardi-panel exterior gives the building an easily maintained material for many years. A tight schedule was met through a modular construction allowing the customer to start the practice on schedule.

Technical Innovation : The immediate need for a doctor’s office was met in a timely manner and allowed the practice to open quickly. This was done by keeping the design of the modular simple yet providing the customer with a professional looking building. The exterior design lends itself to the landscape while matching the existing hospital on site. This office was placed in the hillside, which give the impression of a pit set look on the hospital side of the building. This was achieved thru the use of a retaining wall on the back side. We were able to make the building accessible and meet the local code. The interior was designed so the flow of patients would be from one side of the building to the other then back to the sliding glass appointment window. The nurse’s station has a custom built wraparound counter for extra activity if needed. The reception area and all offices have overhead cabinets. There is plenty of closet space throughout the office for storage of supplies.
