Architectural Excellence : The Weatherford Project is located on a gas plant in the Ukraine, The Crimea Region. A 58-man camp consisting of self-existing units, met the growing trend in temporary workforce housing by diverting from regular dormitories and aiming at a pleasing facility, which renders convenience equal to higher-rated camps.
The facilities comply with contemporary oil company style essential requirements. It is our duty to use our best endeavours to provide a simple, but home-like ambience. We succeed in doing this not only by utilizing modern convenience that mimics a person’s home life, e.g. air-conditioning and heating, but also by installing finishing materials to provide a sense of comfort and ease that is aesthetically pleasing.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : The most important criteria for the operation of the facility is 95% factory completion that includes all system testing and sign off. This is especially important given the geographical location of the camps final destination. With no access to site by truck or boat most of the year, we designed this to have easy onsite installation as there are harsh working conditions and labor is at a premium cost. The roofing and corridors where designed for a quick drop and connection on site. All mechanical, plumbing and electrical fixtures are chosen for their low volume and low energy use abilities. Essentially, the low volume and low energy fixtures limit and control the client need to reload on natural resources. The quick erection process at site reduced to minimum and the usage of our own recycled containers, contributes to cost effectiveness of the project.

Technical Innovation : The Weatherford accommodation facility project is structurally, mechanically and electrically prepared for easy and rapid connection and erection.
The entire facility is structurally supported on a steel frame, which serves as a permanent foundation for the facility. The camp was designed with custom lifting eyes in the corners of each unit for rapid installation. Furthermore, the units are of standard dimension for European heavy truck transport. As a consequence, the transport period is shortened.
For this project we included our own converted containers since we attempted at maintaining a rapid production with swift transport and set-up. However, a fully-equipped kitchen, dining room and generators were selected new.
